What kind of warranties do you offer?
One of our most common questions is are we covered with a warranty. The short answer is yes of course we cover you. We like to make our customers feel safe with us, so we offer a range of warranties throughout our products. Here at Ideal Loft Ladders, we cover your ladder for an amazing 10 year warranty. What this means is any issues with your loft ladder we will come and repair or replace free of charge. Excluding mis-use of course.
All of our electrical work is covered for one year. If your light stops working or your switch stops switching will we come and replace them free of charge. The lights we install are LED tube lights so no need to change bulbs or starter motors. They also have an impressive life span of 25,000 hours. Your sockets are also covered under this same electrical warranty. If you have any issues with the socket within the first year then again, we will come round and repair or replace free of charge. Loft zone is a special product and you receive a 5 year warranty for the plastic supports and steel beams. If you have any issues regarding the supports or beams up there, give us a call as soon as you can and we will make sure that it is safe for you to use.
You will get a 1 year workmanship warranty, what this means is that anything we do that isn’t a ladder, electrical or the support side of loft zone flooring is covered for 1 year.
We cover your loft door, so if this stops opening or gets stuck then we will come round and get that working for you as soon as we can. The boards that we lay onto the loft zone are also covered for 1 year. Insulation is also covered, whether it be on the rafters using a high density foil or a polystyrene board. We also cover the insulation lay lays on top of your ceiling joists.
If you are outside your warranty, do not threat. We will always be able to advise you on what to do if something goes wrong if your outside of your warranty. Whether we come and take a look and advise when our installers are out on the road or whether we book you into the diary as a separate appointment. Call out fees can sometimes apply to this but you will be informed at the time of the booking.
